Please remember in your prayers Robert Provost, father of Paul Provost, manager of the Bookstore on the Minneapolis campus.
Robert, 86, died Friday, Sept. 16. After graduating from high school in 1942, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and became a decorated naval aviator during WWII. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve until 1969, retiring as a lieutenant commander.
A celebration of his life is planned for 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at the Campus Club, University of Minnesota, 403 Coffman Memorial Union, 300 Washington Ave. S., Minneapolis.
