Please remember in your prayers Albert James "Jim" Bittner, the father of Ann Schiffer, who works in the Office of Institutional Advancement at the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity.
Bittner, 76, of Bloomington, died peacefully at home Monday, Jan. 9. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn, and nine children, 41 grandchildren, three great-grand children and three siblings.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at the Church of St. Bonaventure, 901 E. 90th St., Bloomington. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12 (prayer service at 7 p.m.), at the church, and one hour prior to Mass at church.
