Relaxation and Stress Management Workshop starts today

Beginning this week, Personal Counseling will offer a workshop and a group to help students handle stress and body-image concerns.

Relaxation and Stress Management Workshop

If you are stressed and don't know how to handle it or worry a lot or have trouble sleeping, learn practical ways to relax and deal with stress at the Relaxation and Stress Management Workshop that starts today, Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Miriam Gerber and Sarah Armstrong will lead the session from noon to 1 p.m. in the Personal Counseling and Testing Group Room, Room 370, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.

Creating Positive Body Image Group

This is a group for women who are interested in improving their body images through talking with others, creative activity and personal reflection. The goal of the group is to help students accept their bodies and, in turn, themselves.

The group meets from 11 a.m. to noon Thursdays, starting Nov. 6, in Room 370, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
