Register for miniworkshops on working with students with disabilities

Faculty and staff are invited to attend a workshop presented by Kim Schumann, director of the enhancement program, Disability Services. This brown bag event will be held from 12:15 to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, and repeated from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29. Both sessions will be held in Room 154, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.

Information regarding accommodating students with disabilities will be presented. The topics to be covered include: disability law, faculty and student responsibilities, academic accommodations, issues of confidentiality, and policies and procedures.

Beverages and dessert will be provided. Feel free to bring your lunch.
