With finals week and move-out quickly approaching, Public Safety and Parking Services advises motorists be aware of parking changes.
Beginning at 5 a.m. Monday, May 17, and continuing throughout the summer, Public Safety will not require parking permits in commuter and employee lots from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. Overnight parking, however, will not be allowed in these lots.
Parking will be restricted in several lots during move-out. Motorists are asked to not park in the 15-minute zone under the skyway for loading vehicles, because the likelihood of parking longer than 15 minutes, blocking a fire lane or causing traffic congestion is very high.
Parking is not allowed, under any circumstance, in fire lanes, drive aisles, in front of dumpsters, and other restricted areas in order to load vehicles during move-out.
