Public Safety Alert: Phone Theft Near Minneapolis Campus Public Safety November 20, 2013 Public Safety would like to alert the University of St. Thomas community of a robbery recently reported by the Minneapolis Police Department via MPD Action Alert. Between 11:41 and 11:43 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, MPD reported an unidentified victim was robbed by an unknown suspect on the 1100 block of Harmon Place. The victim’s phone was taken while he was on break outside of a business on the block. Further incident details are not known at this time. UST community members who frequent the Minneapolis campus are reminded that phone thefts/robberies have become common crimes in downtown Minneapolis.
