President’s Staff approves exempt staff council
The President’s Staff has approved a council for exempt (salaried) staff. The council's bylaws can be found here.
The council provides an opportunity to engage across the university community; specifically, the council will provide opportunities for discussion, serve as a communication link between exempt staff and senior administration, and recommend exempt staff for appropriate standing committees and task forces. In addition, the council will promote opportunities for staff development.
Elections will be held this semester. If you are interested in serving as a member, or if you can identify an excellent colleague, watch for a future announcement in Bulletin Today.
