The Rev. Thomas Kane, C.S.P, will discuss “Tuning In or Turning Off? Preaching in the Age of Electronic Media” at the 11th annual Preaching Symposium at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Archbishop Ireland Memorial Library conference room.
Kane, a Paulist, teaches liturgy and preaching at the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, Mass. He has taught hundreds of preachers around the world and is the past director of the Weston Summer Institute, which has sponsored seminars on the teaching of preaching.
The talk, free and open to the public, is sponsored by the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity.
