"What Works: Practical Strategies for Gifted Learners," a gifted education conference presented by four full-time St. Thomas faculty members with expertise and professional experience in gifted education, will be held Thursday, Sept. 30, on the University of St. Thomas Minneapolis campus.
The conference will provide educators with practical strategies they can apply directly to their classrooms and schools. The conference will feature panels and breakout sessions on a variety of topics regarding gifted education programming.
Sessions will be led by:

Department of Leadership, Policy and Administration, faculty member and former Minnesota state director of gifted services - Karen Rogers, Ph.D.
Department of Special Education and Gifted Education, faculty member and internationally known researcher and author - KarenWestberg, Ph.D.
Department of Special Education and Gifted Education, faculty member with a Ph.D. in gifted education from the University of Connecticut
