Please remember in your prayers Margaret Mary Krenik, who died Wednesday, May 9. Krenik, 88, of St. Paul, is the sister of John Povolny, associate director of programs in engineering and technology management, School of Engineering, and the mother of four St. Thomas graduates: George Krenik ’74, Mark Krenik ’78, Thomas Krenik ’79 and John Krenik ’88.
Margaret loved St. Thomas and was most proud of her four sons who graduated there. A fifth son, Rock Krenik, graduated from the University of Minnesota. Margaret knew many of the parents whose sons attended St. Thomas. It was her favorite academic institution.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, May 15, at the Church of St. Columba, Lafond and Hamline avenues, St. Paul.
