Please remember in your prayers retired employee Tom Cheney, who died Thursday, Dec. 4, after a long fight with cancer.

Cheney, 79, retired in 1994 from the University of St. Thomas’ Service Center after 36 years of service.

A gathering of friends will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Southern Funeral Home, 414 Marie Ave., South St. Paul. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the Church of St. Augustine, Third Street N. and Fourth Avenue, South St. Paul.
