Please remember in your prayers Dr. Charles Nice, father of Dr. Pam Nice. Pam is the associate director of the UST Faculty Development Center and an adjunct instructor in the English Department. Her father, Charles M. Nice Jr., died Oct. 28.
Charles, 82, was the founding chairman of Tulane University's Radiology Department. He wrote more than 100 articles and was author or co-author of nine textbooks. He also was a battalion surgeon in the South Pacific during World War II.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 1, at the Tulane University School of Medicine auditorium, 1430 Tulane Ave., New Orleans. Bultman Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
