Chester Hastings

Please remember in your prayers Chester Hastings, 84, who passed away Feb. 18 in Waco, Texas. He was the father of Terri Hastings, director of programs and operations for the Center for Ethical Business Cultures in the Opus College of Business.

The day after he retired from MCC, Hastings became professor of educational administration at Baylor University and retired, for good, in May 2001. While at Baylor he helped develop a doctorate in higher education administration and also served as director of a student services graduate instructional program.

He also served as an officer in the Korean War, during which he received the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service.
