Please remember in your prayers Andrew Favorite, 64, who died May 24.
An American Indian historian and educator, Andrew was a member of the College of St. Thomas class of 1971 and served in the Dean of Students Office as minority student affairs director in the 1970s.
As a student, he was an All American heavyweight wrestler and two-time MIAC champion. He was inducted into the St. Thomas Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995.
He is survived by his wife and four children. Services were held June 2 at the White Earth Community Center in White Earth. A Star Tribune obituary can be seen here.
