Dr. John Buri, professor in the Psychology Department, will speak on Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Philosophy Colloquium.
The title of his talk is “Love: What Is It? Are You Good At It?”
The talk will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 126, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts. Everyone is welcome.
According to Dr. Buri, for much of human history, the truth about love has been relegated to troubadours, poets and song-writers. But this is changing. Empirical psychological evidence has much to teach us about the age-old experience of love.
