Personal Counseling announces three groups for students during spring semester

Personal Counseling will offer three counseling groups for students during spring semester.

Creating Positive Body Image Group
Noon to 1 p.m. Thursdays in Room 370, Murray-Herrick Campus Center

Offered for women who are interested in improving their body image, participants in this group get help through talking with others, creative activity and personal reflection. The goal of the group is to help students accept their bodies and, in turn, themselves.

Strategies for Stress and Anxiety Group
Noon to 1 p.m. Tuesdays in Room 370, Murray-Herrick Campus Center

Is college life stressing you out? Are you worrying? Anxious? Overloaded? Fearful? Learn how to manage your stress in a healthy way using cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness meditation and group support.
