Personal Counseling offers gay, lesbian, bisexual support group and grief/loss support group St. Thomas Newsroom October 23, 2000 The Personal Counseling office will offer two additional support groups this fall:The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Student Group In keeping with the university’s commitment to diversity and fostering personal growth, St. Thomas seeks to provide a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for all gay, lesbian and bisexual students; serve as an educational resource; and nurture an open, affirming and respectful campus community. The group will meet every other Tuesday, beginning Oct. 24, in Room 311, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. Dates for fall semester are Oct 24, Nov. 7, Nov. 21 and Dec. 12. Meet with others in a supportive atmosphere, and gain a better understanding of how to manage through emotionally difficult times. The group will meet weekly on Tuesdays, from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. in Room 356, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
