Changes Listed for St. Paul Campus Parking on Move-out Days and During Summer

The University of St. Thomas Department of Public Safety has announced some parking-related changes that will begin Monday, May 16, for the summer and on Thursday and Friday, May 19 and 20, for move-out days.

Summer parking

Starting at 5 a.m. Monday, May 16, and continuing throughout the summer, Public Safety will not require vehicle parking permits in commuter and employee (red or yellow) lots from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.  There still will be no overnight parking in any of these lots.

Move-out parking

Parking will be restricted in multiple lots during move-out. Lots A and B will be closed to all except for those students who are moving out on Thursday, May 19, and Friday, May 20. All others should make arrangements to park in the south campus Anderson Parking Facility on those days.

Please do not park in the 15-minute zone under the north campus skyway for loading vehicles; the likelihood of parking longer than 15 minutes, blocking a fire lane, or causing traffic congestion is very high.

D0 not, under any circumstances, park in fire lanes, drive aisles, in front of dumpsters, or other restricted areas to load vehicles during move-out; additionally, no trucks (other than pickup trucks) or trailers are permitted for move-out.
