The Moss Chair in Catholic Social Thought was added on Sept. 1 as a joint appointment in the Department of Catholic Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Ethics and Business Law in the Opus College of Business. The inaugural holder, Dr. Michael Naughton, is a longstanding faculty member in the St. Thomas community and has taught courses in the Opus College of Business for many years. The Moss Chair is named for the Rev. Alan W. Moss, parish priest at St. Anthony of Padua and chaplain for the Teamsters Union, and its purpose is to create connections between Catholic social thought and the profession of business.
