You are invited to nominate deserving seniors for the 2000 Tommy Award. This award has been presented annually since 1931 to a St. Thomas undergraduate senior, selected by faculty, staff and students, who best represents St. Thomas Aquinas’ ideals of scholarship, leadership and campus involvement.
This award is co-sponsored by The Aquin and the St. Thomas Alumni Association.
Nominees must be St. Thomas seniors graduating no later than December 2000, with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75.
Nomination applications require 75 signatures, two letters of recommendation, a picture of the nominee and a GPA publication release form signed by the nominee.
Applications are available in The Aquin office, third floor, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, or in the Dean of Student Life office. The deadline for receipt of applications is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17. Applications may be delivered in person to The Aquin office or sent to Mail #5055. No late applications will be accepted.
Preliminary voting for the 2000 Tommy Award will be held in December. Final voting will be held in February 2000.
The awards will be presented on St. Thomas Day, March 4, 2000.
