Ned Hanauer, a Jewish political scientist, will discuss “Approaches to a Just Peace in Palestine/Israel: A Consideration of Human Rights, International Law and the Role of the U.S. Government in the Search for a Settlement” at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium.

Hanauer founded the organization, Search for Justice and Equality in Palestine/Israel, in 1972. He believes that Israeli security and Palestinian self-determination are interdependent and not mutually exclusive.

His talk is sponsored by the Justice and Peace Program and the University Lectures Committee.
