National Society of Collegiate Scholars to induct new members St. Thomas Newsroom September 30, 2009 The University of St. Thomas’ chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars will induct new members on Thursday, Oct. 1. Those being inducted are among the top 20 percent of students at the university. Diverse in major and background, the new members share the common NSCS values of scholarship, leadership and service. In addition to scholarships, members will have access to career and internship opportunities, leadership-development training, professional and peer networking, and community service opportunities. Induction ceremonies will be held at 5 p.m. in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Nominated UST underclassmen and their families are invited to attend. NSCS chapter officers and members also will be in attendance.
