Graduate Programs in Music Education Presents Annual Research Roundtable July 12

Students in Graduate Programs in Music Education who recently completed their theses will give formal presentations of their research at the department’s annual Research Roundtable on Thursday, July 12.

This year's presenters are:

  • Brandy Klingel Gullickson: "An Examination and Resource Guide of Non-Western European SATB Selections of the World Voices Choral Library"
  • Matthew Oyen: "Parent Musicians: Relationships and Interactions with Music Education"
  • Jennifer Skoglund: "The Influence of Hip-Hop Culture on the Classroom Behavior of Urban Middle School Students"

The program, which includes the presentations, reception and lunch, will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Brady Educational Center auditorium.

The program is open to the public. Those attending should R.S.V.P. their lunch preference to gradmusic@stthomas.edu; select from Asian salad, grilled salmon salad, spicy veggie wrap or turkey sandwich.
