Multicultural Student Services has openings for graduate assistants for the 2000-2001 academic year.

Graduate assistants help with advising the HANA organization and other multicultural student groups. They also work on administrative projects.

Candidates must be enrolled in a St. Thomas graduate program, have previous student leadership experience and demonstrated success in developing relationships with diverse people.

Academic-year appointments and possible summer employment opportunities are available. Pay rate is $10 per hour for 10-20 hours per week. Candidates should be available 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tuesdays; 10 a.m.-noon Wednesdays; and 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursdays. Other hours may be negotiated and may include some weekends and evenings.
