Multicultural Student Services celebrates 40th anniversary Friday

The year 2008 marked the 40th anniversary of Multicultural Student Services at the University of St. Thomas. The Multicultural Student Services and Alumni offices invite the UST community to commemorate this important milestone at a celebration from 4:45 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, in O'Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium.
The celebration will include special guest speaker and internationally renowned musician and composer Dr. William Banfield along with the premiere of the student-produced film, "40 Years of Multicultural Student Services." MSS also will recognize the Reaching Excellence in Academics and Leadership Program's 10-year anniversary.
A special thank you goes out to the 40th Anniversary Planning Committee: Krizza Balderama, Cassie Bean, Lilla Hassan, Omari Hoover, Demar Lewis, Anna Medina and Benjamin Nebo.
