The Moose Mile Fun Run, a one-mile run/walk, will be held Saturday, May 1, to support Dr. Dan Carey (a.k.a. Moose), assistant professor in the Health and Human Performance Department, who recently was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. All proceeds will be donated to Kids ’n Kinship, a favorite charity of Carey.

The event will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. on the track in O’Shaughnessy Stadium. Pick up a registration form in Room 207, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, or sign up online. Registration deadline is Thursday, April 29.

Cost is $20 pre-registered, and $30 the day of the event. The run/walk is open to all ages and abilities but limited to 300; however, all supporters are welcome to attend. Donations will be greatly appreciated and tax-deductible.
