Minnesota state grant recipients: Be aware of FAFSA deadline

Students who intend to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current academic year but have not yet done so are asked to submit it immediately to receive consideration for Minnesota state grant funding and federal student aid.
In order to be considered for Minnesota State Grant funds for the spring semester, the U.S. Department of Education must receive your 2008-09 FAFSA on or before March 3, 2009. If your FAFSA is received after this date, you will not be eligible to receive a state grant for spring term but may receive state grant funds for summer session.
You may file the FAFSA online after securing a Department of Education Personal Identification Number (PIN) for yourself and your parent (if applicable).
