Minneapolis Police Department offers reward for information

UST's Department of Public Safety and Parking Services shares the following information from the Minneapolis Police Department, and reminds the St. Thomas community that all reasonable requests for escorts on and near campus will not be denied.

A reward has been offered for information about the robbery and shooting of a Qwest employee around noon on Tuesday, Sept. 6, on 46th Street between Aldrich and Bryant avenues north, Minneapolis.

Police believe the suspect to be a black male, armed with a handgun, approximately 16 to 24 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, of slender build, with long black hair. The suspect was last seen on a bicycle, heading north in the alley between Aldrich and Bryant.

Qwest has offered up to a $10,000 reward for information that results in an arrest and criminal charges being filed in this case.
