The University of St. Thomas Master of International Management program will host “La Noche de España” — Spain Culture Night — from 7 to 11 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at Art Institutes International of Minnesota, 15 S. Ninth St., Minneapolis.
The night is an opportunity for St. Thomas students, alumni and faculty and the Twin Cities community to experience another culture’s traditions, arts and culture — and enjoy themselves at the same time.
Between 7 and 11 p.m., an authentic Spanish buffet prepared by culinary students at Art Institute International of Minnesota will feature tapas, paella, empanadas, sangria and more. At Chef’s Table seatings for 10, scheduled at 8:30 and 9:30 p.m., guests will be treated to a served meal, along with cooking demonstrations and wine pairings.
The Minneapolis-based Rincón del Flamenco dance troupe will perform at 8 and 9 p.m. Musicians Jocko MacNelly and Los Hijos del Kabong will provide live music, and door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening.
Cost is $20 per person or $15 for UST students. Special-seating Chef’s Table reservations are $50 per person.
