Master’s seminar offers five days of discussion on ‘great books’
The Great Books Masters Seminar, a program that is unique in the nation, is an intensive, three-credit course for graduate students that uses selected writings of classic and contemporary thinkers as the starting point for focused discussion with peers.
The course number is MBMG 900, and it is held from August 17 to August 22.
Readings will address such universal human concerns as justice, freedom, economic equality, world community, leadership and democracy.
The cost includes tuition, fees, and room and board.
Participants must enroll in the course before attending a mandatory orientation session on Thursday, May 15.
