Major Field Day is March 9 St. Thomas Newsroom March 2, 2000 Major Field Day is coming. This annual event, sponsored by Academic Counseling, is an easy way for students to learn about potential majors, ask questions of department representatives and officially declare their major. Major Field Day will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Thursday, March 9. Students interested in any major within the Division of Business should go to McNeely Hall. All other majors will be represented in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. A check-in table will direct you to the appropriate room. Undergraduate students who have not declared a major are invited. Any undergraduate student with 48 credits completed who has NOT declared their major should attend. Your registration date for summer and fall 2000 courses will be delayed if you have not declared once you reach junior standing. Freshmen and sophomores with fewer than 48 credits: Although you will not officially declare your major, this is an opportunity to learn about different majors and their requirements. Come and find out what they’re all about! Questions? Contact Patrick or Beth in Academic Counseling at (651) 962-6300.
