UST Libraries offers access to a new database that allows users to make custom maps and reports using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data. Use SimplyMap to create legible, detailed thematic maps for presentations, reports, grant applications, business plans and research projects. Data variables can be viewed at the state, county, ZIP code, tract and block group levels. Users also can customize maps, from colors and boundaries to the number of data categories.
SimplyMap includes hundreds of demographic, business and marketing data variables such as consumer expenditures, lifestyles, market segments, real estate, and crime statistics. Access SimplyMap via the UST Libraries website.
