Library today: RefWorks available for UST alumni St. Thomas Newsroom November 5, 2009 RefWorks citation manager is now available online for all UST Alumni and is accessible from work, home or anywhere you have an Internet connection. RefWorks allows you to save article citations, files and links and to organize them according to preference. When a bibliography is needed, RefWorks will create that page in any of the hundreds of styles you choose. UST alumni now can continue to use the accounts they created as well as the valuable research they conducted while at St. Thomas. Contact the libraries to set up new accounts. New decision sciences and mangement database availableInforms PubsOnline is a database of 12 full-text management journals with articles that focus on decision sciences, information systems and supply chain management. Users may conduct author or keyword searches and choose to search in multiple or single-selected journals. The full text covers from 2001 to the present and articles include all tables, graphs and references with some links to other full-text articles. Access Informs PubsOnline via the UST Libraries management databases Web page.Engineering database trial – feedback requestedCompendex is a comprehensive bibliographic database of engineering research, containing more than 9 million references and abstracts taken from over 5,000 engineering journals, conferences and technical reports.Online coverage is from 1969 to the present. Approximately 250,000 new records are added to the database annually from more than 175 disciplines and major specialties within engineering. Updated weekly, coverage includes nuclear technology, bioengineering, transportation, chemical and process engineering, light and optical technology, agricultural engineering and food technology, computers and data processing, applied physics, electronics and communications, control, civil, mechanical, materials, petroleum, aerospace and automotive engineering as well as narrower subtopics within all these and other major engineering fields.
