Training and Development will present “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” seminar in October and November.

“The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” is a 36-hour seminar, based on the book by the same name, that focuses on personal and interpersonal levels of leadership development. Participants learn how to see, think and act more effectively to achieve better results, take responsibility and to become more opportunity-minded.

Seminars will be held in Room LL02, Binz Refectory at the following times:

Session I

8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8

Session II

8 a.m.-noon Friday, Oct. 15

Session III

8 a.m.-noon Friday, Oct. 22

Session IV

8 a.m.-noon Friday, Oct. 29

Session V

8 a.m.-noon Friday, Nov. 5

Session VI

8 a.m.-noon Friday, Nov. 12

Session VII

8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19

Participants will be able to miss only eight hours of the seminar. Any hours missed, up to eight hours, must be made up on an individual basis.

The cost to each participant will be $35. This cost is equal to half of the cost of the materials used during the seminar and will be charged to the participant’s department. Training and Development will pay for the remainder of the cost of the materials for each participant. Any participant who cancels at any time during the seminar will be charged the full cost of the materials ($70).
