It’s Tommie-Johnnie game time again St. Thomas Newsroom October 30, 2002 Here’s the art on this year’s "official" commemorative shirts for the Tommie-Johnnie football game. The shirts are purple. Ah, it’s that hallowed time of the year, when any purple-loving Tommie properly prepares for that annual rite of autumn: the Tommie-Johnnie football game. This year’s Big Game is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, in Collegeville. If it’s transportation you need, free shuttles (thanks, All College Council!) carrying students, faculty and staff will leave from the arches at 10:30 a.m. And, once again, ACC offers an important piece of Tommie-Johnnie football finery: an official "spirit shirt." The long-sleeved shirts are available at the Box Office or from any ACC member for $10. Questions? Call the Box Office, (651) 962-6137, or Matt Deutsch in the the ACC office, (651) 962-6146. According to the Johnnies’ Web site, there are no advance single-game ticket sales for Johnnie home football games. General admission tickets will be available Saturday, Nov. 2, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Clemens Stadium. Tickets are $7 adults and $5 students.
