It’s International Credit Union Week!
The St. Thomas Employee Federal Credit Union invites all employees to celebrate International Credit Union Week.
On the Minneapolis campus, look for the credit union table from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, near the skyway on the second floor of Terrence Murphy Hall. Enjoy some refreshments, speak to the CU staff, or pick up CU membership information and cards, payroll deduction authorization forms, loan applications and 2005 pocket planners. There also will be a raffle for a $10 deposit to a CU share account.
On the St. Paul campus, refreshments will be provided during CU open hours, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in the credit union office, Room 132, Christ Child Hall. Another $10 deposit to a share account will be raffled off, so be sure to stop by.
Even if you aren’t a member of the credit union, any employee is invited to come by and check out what the credit union has to offer. The CU, founded in 1949, is an employee credit union and membership is open to any UST employee, St. Thomas Academy employee and immediate family members of those employees.
The CU is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration and offers the following products to its members:
- Share savings accounts with competitive dividend rates

- Loans up to $40,000 cumulative per member with rates based on applicant’s credit score (better credit gets better rate)

If you can’t join the CU for refreshments and the raffle but would like information sent to you, call (651) 962-6660, or e-mail the credit union for more information.
