International Student Services’ next International Tuesday titled “At the Top of the World: How Has Tourism Affected Nepal?” will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, in the Fireside Room, Room 260, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Food and beverages will be provided.

The kingdom of Nepal is located in the Himalayas between India and Tibet. With the growth of adventure travel and “eco-tourism,” Nepal is becoming a popular travel destination for people seeking something new in their travels. Learn how this tourism is affecting Nepal through the eyes of a traveler and from the perspective of its citizens.

Aruna Aryal and Ashok Chhetri, Nepali students, and Krista McCallum Beatty, International Student Services, will share their personal experiences from the “top of the world.”
