St. Paul Seminary Hosts 60 Hours of Eucharistic Adoration This Week

In honor of Pope Benedict XVI’s 60 years of priestly ministry, the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity will host 60 hours of Eucharistic adoration this week.

The 60 hours will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 28,with a Solemn Vigil Mass of Saints Peter and Paul, celebrated by Archbishop John Nienstedt, at St. Mary's Chapel.

The chapel will remain open for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until the morning of July 1, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart, when the time for public prayer will conclude with Holy Mass at 8 a.m. The chapel also will be open to all during night hours.

The actual anniversary of the pope’s ordination is June 29, the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul.
