Here are finals week and summertime parking reminders St. Thomas Newsroom May 17, 2005 Here are finals week and summertime parking remindersParking in resident lots during finals week: Permits will be required for overnight parking in resident lots this week; residents with permits may park from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. only in lots A, R3, U, V or W (resident lots). Residents without permits who are moving out may park in resident lots only from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and in commuter/employee lots from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. Outside of these times, residents may use the Morrison Hall ramp or 15-minute zones for moving out.Please remember that fire lanes, drive aisles, meters and other restricted areas will continue to be enforced, even during move-out. Morrison ramp Level R2 also will be open at this time to accommodate resident students moving out.St. Paul campus summer parking reminders: Beginning this week, permits will not be required in employee or commuter lots for the summer. Permits will be required in restricted lots, including Lot P (School of Divinity), Lot Q (Faculty Residence), and Lot L (Admissions). All other parking regulations will continue to be enforced. These include: parking meters, unauthorized parking in restricted zones (i.e., Rideshare, Hairworks, Child Development center, etc.), no-parking zones, loading docks, 15-minute zones, handicapped spaces and fire lanes.Overnight parking will not be allowed in nonresident lots at any time during the summer. Overnight residents and visitors must park in Lots A, R3, V, U or W.On Monday, May 23, Lots J and K will close indefinitely for construction.At 11 p.m. Monday, May 31, Lots A and B and the stadium side of Lot E will close for three to seven days for construction.
