The Student Health Insurance Office reminds undergraduate students enrolled in 12 or more credits, and graduate, professional or law students enrolled in 9 or more credits, that they are required to enter their health insurance coverages in Murphy Online each semester.
Students who completed the process in fall 2009 still need to go into Murphy Online to verify their current insurance information. The screens will display the information that was entered last semester and will ask for updates or changes. The process takes only a minute to complete.
To enter health insurance coverage information or purchase the Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan:
- Log in to Murphy Online
- Select: Student Services
- Select: Student Health Menu
- Select: Student Health Insurance option and follow the prompts to either:
- Purchase the Aetna Plan and print a temporary ID card, or
- Enter your existing health insurance information (insurer name, insurer phone number and member identification number).
Those who do not enter their existing health insurance information or purchase the Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan before Feb. 16 will be automatically enrolled and billed $429 for the Aetna Plan.
