Government and Nonprofit Career Fair Oct. 26 Open to Students, Alumni

The Government and Nonprofit Career Fair will be held Friday, Oct. 26. This event allows candidates to pursue professional opportunities and internships in all levels of government and nonprofit agencies.

Open to students and alumni, the fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Coffman Memorial Union at the University of Minnesota, 300 Washington Ave. S.E., Minneapolis. Participants should bring their résumés.

Registration is free; to register visit the Career Development Center Seminars and Events website or TommieCareers. Visit the Government and Nonprofit Career Fair website to view a list of employers attending the fair and the jobs and internships they are seeking to fill.

Workshop presentations also will be held at the fair:

  • 11:15 a.m. – Myth Busting: You and a Federal Government Career
  • 12:30 p.m. – Professionals in Government: City, County, State and Federal Jobs
  • 1:45 p.m. – NP101: Intro to Careers in Nonprofits
