"Kisses on the Quad"
National Week of the Young Child will be celebrated April 14-18 at St. Thomas. The children and staff of the UST Child Development Center will celebrate with a variety of activities throughout the week, including "Kisses on the Quad." The children and staff will give out special kisses (of the chocolate variety, of course) from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 14, on the lower quad.
Diaper, baby wipes drive for Tubman Family Alliance
The Child Development Center, in partnership with April "National Child Abuse Prevention Month" and "Week of the Young Child," reaches out each year to the children in crisis served by the Tubman Family Alliance in the Twin Cities. In support of the needs of the families the alliance serves, the center is sponsoring a diaper and baby wipes drive. Donations are being accepted Monday through Thursday, April 14-17, at the Grill, and Monday through Friday, April 14-18, at the Child Development Center's front reception area. The center is located at Grand Avenue and Finn Street.
