The Concert Choir, under the direction of Dr. Angela Broeker, and the Liturgical Choir, directed by Aaron Brown, are collaborating with the dance group Eclectic Edge Ensemble to present “Nourishing Bodies and Souls: An Exploration in Music and Movement.”
Free and open to the public, the concert will take place at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, in the James B. Woulfe Alumni Hall in the Anderson Student Center.
This performance is part of the Sacred Arts Festival, a celebration of sacred art and exploration of faith.
Through music and dance the concert will explore hunger of body and soul and the responsibility of humanity to care for the hungry. A collection will be taken to benefit UNICEF for the relief of starvation victims in the Horn of Africa.
