Feminist Friday panel to discuss 'Realities of Refugee Women in Minnesota Today'

The Luann Dummer Center for Women will host a Feminist Friday panel discussion – “Realities of Refugee Women in Minnesota Today” – on Friday, Nov. 13. 

The panel will feature Linda Sieh, Liberian asylee; Ayan Hussein, Ethiopian refugee; Bukola, Nigerian asylee and human trafficking survivor; Farah Ameen, Iraqi refugee and pharmacy student; Harriet Oyera, Ugandan refugee; and moderator Linda Miller, executive director of the Civil Society.

The discussion will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the Women’s Center, Room 103, O'Shaughnessy Educational Center. Bring  lunch; beverages and cookies will be available.
