Sarah Muenster-Blakley, Sara Christenson and Kylee Joosten have been awarded research fellowships for the 2011-12 academic year by the Luann Dummer Center for Women Advisory Board.

Joosten has been awarded the Undergraduate Research on Topics Related to Women fellowship for her proposal “Analyzing Experiences of Sexually Coercive Behaviors and Instances of Self-Silencing in a Diverse Sample of Female Undergraduates.” She will work with Dr. Lisa Waldner, Sociology Department.

Muenster-Blakley and Christenson have been awarded Graduate Student Research on Topics Related to Women fellowships.

Muenster-Blakley will research “Exhibitions for the International Community: The Photographs and Interviews of Rape Victims from Rwanda and Somalia by Jonathan Torgovnik and Fazal Sheikh.” She will work with Dr. Heather Shirey, Art History.

Christenson will research “Gender Differences in Deep Job Satisfaction” and will work with Dr. Teresa Rothausen-Vange, Opus College of Business.
