Course description
ENTR 349 Family Business Management

Does your parent(s) own a business? If so, you likely will become an owner in that business. In this introductory family business class, students will prepare to “sit at the table” as a contributing owner. Learn the roles and responsibilities of ownership, how to plan and prepare for ownership, how to be successful as an owner, and how to gain skills in organization and decision making as an owner.

  • New focus – Ownership (not necessarily employment in the business)
  • New time – 11:15 a.m.-12:55 p.m. Monday and Wednesday in Room 401, Terrence Murphy Hall
  • New requirement – Current owner (parent or relative) is not required to attend class but will consult on some assignments
