The University of St. Thomas Music Department will present four performances of the annual Christmas Concert at 5:15 and 8:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 9, in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas.
Celebrating the seasons of Advent and Christmas, the St. Thomas student musical ensembles present to the community the university’s annual gift of religious, traditional and contemporary music and readings. The Concert Choir, Liturgical Choir, Men’s Schola Cantorum, Women’s Choir, Chamber Singers, Brass Ensemble and other St. Thomas instrumental ensembles will perform.
Although the concert is free, tickets are required. Last year’s concerts sold out quickly.
Order forms are available at the Information Desk and in the Center for Student Leadership and Activities, both on first floor, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Order forms also are available at the security desk in Terrence Murphy Hall, Minneapolis campus.
Forms are due in the Alumni Association office no later than Wednesday, Nov. 22. Tickets will be unavailable after this date. Tickets will be sent to you prior to the concert.
A dress rehearsal at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas also will be held. It is free and open to the public, but no registration nor tickets are required.
