Faculty-staff indoor parking contracts available for new McNeely Hall ramp

The new McNeely Hall Parking Ramp on the St. Paul campus will be open beginning fall semester 2006. These spaces are being sold on a first-come, first-serve basis to all full-time faculty or staff members. Faculty or staff members who purchase a ramp contract will be guaranteed a parking space. The spaces will not be assigned, but Parking Services will not be overselling. The ramp contract permit will also allow parking in any regular Faculty and staff surface parking lot as well.
Ramp contracts will be sold as 12-month contracts and the price of the contract is determined on a sliding scale based on the employee’s salary as of August 1, 2006. The cost is spread out over a 12-month period of payroll deductions. Below are the ramp contract fees for the 2006-2007 academic year.
Salary range contract cost:
- Under $30,000: $500 annually ($19.23 per bi-weekly pay-period)
- $30,000-$60,000: $700 annually ($26.92 per bi-weekly pay-period)
- Over $60,000: $900 annually ($34.61 per bi-weekly pay-period)
Hurry now if you are interested in purchasing a 2006-2007 McNeely Hall Ramp Contract before they sell out! Please stop by the Public Safety office on the St. Paul campus (first floor of Morrison Hall) and fill out a new payroll deduction sign-up form. You also may mail the form to Public Safety at Mail 4081. E-mail confirmation will be sent to you once a ramp contract permit has been designated for you.
