• A panel of six physicians who will describe their work, what the experience is like for them, and how they find balance in their professional and personal lives.
  • A panel of two physicians who will describe formal medical education and the approaches used in teaching the art and the science of medicine.
  • A panel of admissions officers from four medical schools, who will describe the qualities that help to define a good medical student and a successful physician. 
  • A box lunch session, in which small groups of attendees will meet with one or more  panelists to address individual questions about medical careers.

Dr. Charlotte Ovechka, director of the Pre-Health Professions Advising Office, and Dr. Laurence Savett, a physician who teaches “The Humanism of Medicine” this fall, are coordinating the program.
