Education grads: Alliance for Catholic Education info night is Wednesday St. Thomas Newsroom November 29, 2004 Education grads: Alliance for Catholic Education info night is Wednesday The Alliance for Catholic Education will hold an information night from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, in Room 126, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts. Applications will be available. This evening will celebrate some of the great teachers you’ve had in your lifetime. Thousands of children today need great teachers just like you had. In fact, today’s Catholic schools need, more than at any other time in their history, you – your gifts, your enthusiasm, your commitment to your faith and education – to keep alive their great tradition of inspiring our church’s and our nation’s children. The ACE program is beginning its 12th year of placing recent graduates in under-resourced dioceses of the South and Southeast United States. In addition to serving as a much-needed resource to American Catholic schools, ACE has successfully created an attractive program through which young graduates can explore their vocation to become teachers. To learn more about the Alliance for Catholic Education at the University of Notre Dame, come to the information session. Everyone who is interested in applying to ACE is encouraged to attend this important meeting. If you have any questions, contract Brian Green, (651) 962-5864, or contact the ACE office directly at (574) 631-7052. Also, visit the ACE Web site.
